Stable Airdrop: Is the Claim Still Open?

Checked and updated 7 August 2026 ยท This is about the STABLE crypto token on Stable chain, not Apple AirDrop

The answer, in one paragraph. The STABLE token airdrop is closed. Claims opened on 8 December 2025 and ended on 2 March 2026 at 12:00 UTC. It cannot be claimed today. There is no season 2, no points programme and no announced second airdrop. If a website is offering you a Stable airdrop claim right now, it is a scam, and below we name three that security researchers have already taken apart.

Why this page exists

We checked the pages currently ranking for this search. The top result says the claim is "actively open" with "no official end date". That is false, and it was already false two weeks before that page was last updated. Another one describes a completely different event from August 2025. A third gets the date wrong. None of them carries a single scam warning.

So the number one result on Google is sending people to hunt for a claim that ended five months ago, and the people doing that hunting land on phishing pages. That is the whole reason we wrote this.

Three fake claim sites, named

These are documented wallet drainers, not hypotheticals. We write them with brackets so nobody clicks them by accident.

DomainThe trick
stablereward[.]claims
airdrop.stablereward[.]claims
Calls itself the "Stable Genesis Airdrop". Displays a fake counter of 142,847 eligible wallets and a 50 million token allocation, then asks you to "import your wallet" by typing your 12 word recovery phrase. The domain was registered on 8 December 2025, the exact day the mainnet launched.
signup-stable[.]xyz
stable-deposits[.]com
Impersonates stable.xyz and promises a signup bonus if you register within 48 hours. Connecting a wallet triggers a drainer. Documented in November 2025, two weeks before the mainnet even existed.
app.merkl[.]onlineA typosquat of the real claim portal, app.merkl.xyz. Arrives by email about "incentives from a recent on-chain campaign", then asks for your recovery phrase to "import your wallet".
One rule would have stopped all three. A real claim page never asks for your seed phrase or recovery phrase. Not to import, not to verify, not to restore, not ever. Real claims ask you to connect a wallet and sign. The moment a website wants you to type twelve words into a box, you are being robbed, and no amount of official looking design changes that.

What the airdrop actually was

Stable is an EVM layer 1 backed by Bitfinex and Tether where gas is paid in USDT0 instead of a volatile token. It launched its mainnet on 8 December 2025. On that same day it distributed STABLE tokens to the people who had put money into its pre-mainnet deposit campaign, a campaign that pulled in over 2 billion dollars across two phases.

The distribution ran through Merkl. That is the whole story. It was not a social task campaign, it was not a quest grind, and there was never a claim.stable.xyz.

Who was eligible: three separate distributions

Nearly every article blends these together, which is why so many people think they missed something they were never in line for.

DistributionWhenWhoAmount
Main Merkl airdrop8 Dec 2025 to 2 Mar 2026Holders of vault receipts from the pre-deposit campaign, with more for those who deployed them into Morpho, Pendle or UniswapVaried by deposit size
Binance Alpha, first round8 Dec 2025, 13:00 UTCAt least 250 Binance Alpha Points, first come first served2,000 STABLE
Binance Alpha, second round6 Feb 2026, 09:00 UTCAt least 240 Alpha Points, costing 15 points to claim. Announced officially by Binance as the second wave.1,845 STABLE

And one thing worth saying plainly, because nobody else does: social quests on Galxe ran during 2025, but Stable never confirmed that completing them produced any token allocation. The airdrop that actually paid out was based on deposits, not on follows and retweets.

How big was it?

Stable's whitepaper allocates 10 percent of total supply, 10 billion STABLE, to what it calls Genesis Distribution. That figure is official and it was fully unlocked at launch. But what it covers is broader than the airdrop alone: the pre-deposit distribution, early supporter allocations and partner campaigns all come out of the same bucket.

Within it, the tranche that went specifically to the on-chain pre-deposit vaults is reported at around 2.5 billion STABLE, roughly 2.5 percent of supply. Stable never published a line by line split. So treat the 10 billion as the confirmed ceiling and the 2.5 billion as the reported vault tranche. Pages stating that "10 billion tokens were airdropped to users" are quoting the entire Genesis bucket, not the airdrop.

I think I was eligible and never claimed. What now?

This is the section for the person who arrived here slightly panicked. Short and honest:

1

The announced deadline has passed

2 March 2026 at 12:00 UTC. That is five months ago. Assume it is gone.

2

The only place worth checking is your own Merkl dashboard

app.merkl.xyz/users. You connect a wallet. You never type a recovery phrase. Be prepared for it to show nothing: the campaign terms state that after the deadline late claims are blocked and unclaimed tokens are recycled into future ecosystem programmes, and the Merkl contract enforces this with a timestamp condition. No case of anyone claiming after 2 March 2026 is documented.

3

There is no such thing as a Stable airdrop checker

None exists and none ever did. Eligibility was only ever visible inside the Merkl dashboard. Every site calling itself a "Stable airdrop checker" is a phishing page, and that phrase is one of the most searched right now, which is exactly why the scammers built for it.

Is another Stable airdrop coming?

Nothing is announced as of 7 August 2026. No season 2, no points programme, no registration, no farming campaign.

Is it possible later? Yes. Stable holds 40 percent of supply, 40 billion STABLE, in an ecosystem treasury earmarked for grants, user onboarding incentives and on-chain activity rewards. That is a treasury, not a programme. It means a future campaign is plausible, not that one exists.

Until Stable announces something on its own blog or its own X account, anyone telling you to farm the Stable season 2 airdrop is either guessing or phishing you. We will update this page the day that changes.

Token facts and how the unlocks actually work

Supply is fixed at 100 billion STABLE with no inflation. Around 25.2 billion was circulating in August 2026, for a market cap near 829 million dollars at roughly 0.033 dollars per token.

The part worth understanding is the unlock schedule, because it repeats. STABLE releases 888,888,889 tokens every single month. At August 2026 prices that is about 29 to 30 million dollars per tranche, which works out to 0.89 percent of total supply and around 3.5 percent of the circulating supply each time. The tranche released on 8 August 2026 was one of these. So was the one before it, and so will be the next.

What the trackers get wrong, every month. You will regularly see headlines calling one of these a "cliff" unlock, which makes it sound like a sudden one off dump. The arithmetic says otherwise. The Ecosystem and Community allocation vests 32 billion tokens linearly over 36 months, and 32,000,000,000 divided by 36 is exactly 888,888,889. Every month is the same size as every other month. So when you read about "a 30 million dollar STABLE unlock", you are reading about routine vesting, not an event. Check the date and the size before you react to one.
A detail that catches even automated sources. Many blockchain directories still list Stable's gas token as gUSDT. That is out of date: it was replaced by USDT0 in the v1.2.0 upgrade of February 2026. If a tool tells you the gas token is gUSDT, it has not been updated.

What you can actually do on Stable today

If you came here hunting an airdrop and found out there isn't one, the chain itself is still worth understanding. It is the only layer 1 where your gas is denominated in dollars, which removes an entire category of annoyance.

Sources, and what we could not verify

Claim window and eligibility confirmed against four independent sources including the imToken wallet guide, Phemex, ChainThink and AInvest, then cross-checked a second time. Tokenomics from docs.stable.xyz. Unlock figures from CoinMarketCap and DropsTab. Scam domains documented by malwr-analysis and PCrisk.

Things we could not confirm, listed here because pretending otherwise would be dishonest:

If you have primary sources on any of these, we would rather be corrected than be confidently wrong.
