How to Buy Tokens on Stable Chain in Under a Minute

Updated August 2026 ยท Verified against official Stable docs

Stable is the new layer-1 by the Bitfinex/Tether ecosystem where gas is paid in dollars (USDT0): no ETH, no SOL, no native token to juggle. Here is the fastest way to trade on it, tested and timed: about 30 seconds per buy once you're set up.

The one rule before you start: trading bots use a built-in wallet, so your personal wallet is never exposed. But funds deposited in any bot stay in that bot's custody. Only deposit what you actively trade. A bot is an execution tool, not a vault.

The fastest method: BasedBot (Telegram)

Three ways exist to buy on Stable: a Telegram trading bot, a DEX with MetaMask (method 2 below), or a web trading terminal. The Telegram bot is the fastest by far, and it's what most active Stable traders use. New to Stable? Start here.

1

Open BasedBot and get your trading wallet

Open BasedBot on Telegram: it generates a dedicated trading wallet the moment you start it. No seed phrase to connect, no website to approve, and your main wallet never touches the bot.

Beware of fake copies of the bot on Telegram: only use a link from a source you trust.

2

Fund it with USDT0

Bridge USDT from any chain to Stable (see the full bridging guide). Short version: use usdt0.to (official), Stargate, or Relay, and send the USDT0 to your bot wallet address (shown in the bot). USDT0 doubles as the gas token, so once funded you need nothing else.

3

Paste a contract address

Copy any Stable token's contract address (from Stablescan, DEX screeners, or wherever you found the token) and paste it into the bot chat. It instantly shows price, liquidity, and taxes.

4

Tap to buy: done in ~1 second

Pick your amount, confirm, and the trade executes. Stable's block time is around 0.7 seconds, so fills are near-instant. Selling works the same way: open the token in the bot, tap sell.

Why this beats doing it manually

Method 2: MetaMask + DEX (manual, advanced)

Prefer full self-custody? It works, but be warned: this is the complicated route. Stable doesn't appear in MetaMask's default network list or in its built-in bridge: you add the network manually and bridge through external sites (see the bridging guide) with your wallet connected. Network settings:

SettingValue
Network nameStable
RPC URLhttps://rpc.stable.xyz
Chain ID988
Currency symbolUSDT0
Block explorerhttps://stablescan.xyz

Then swap on a Stable-native DEX such as DYORSwap. This route is slower per trade (approvals + confirmations) but keeps keys fully in your hands. It's the right choice for larger, less frequent positions. Many traders use the bot for fast entries and MetaMask for what they hold.

Method 3: web terminal

BasedBot also has a web app (a trading terminal in the browser) using the same account and wallet as the Telegram bot. Handy for charts and managing positions on desktop; the Telegram bot stays faster for catching a token mid-pump on your phone.
